Bizarre Cars of Week

buying used stuff

This article will show you some of the strangest cars on the planet. This article will give you a look at some of our most outrageous models, such as the Suzuki X-90 or the Nissan Pulsar NX.

The Isetta

The Isetta was an unusual car. It was also known as a bubble car. Its bubble shape allowed for no side windows, and its entire front end hinged outwards to let the driver get in and out. The Isetta featured a single door that swung open to reveal a seating area with two headlamps, which were mounted halfway up the body. The reverse lights were placed under the bumper, while the taillights were mounted as normal.

The Suzuki X-90

The X-90 was introduced at the 1993 Tokyo Motor Show as a concept vehicle, and it was based on the chassis of the global Suzuki Sidekick, which was sold as the Geo Tracker in the U.S. It was unusual because it eschewed the typical boxy 4x4 setup for a coupe-like body with very little off-road capability. Inside, there were two bolstered thrones on the X-90 and a small trunk.

The Nissan Pulsar NX

The Nissan Pulsar NX is one of those cars that could only have been born in the 1980s. The blocky, angular styling of this car would not have existed without the era. This week's Bizarre Car of the Week examines the strange design and quirky features of the Nissan Pulsar NX. But before we get into that, let's take a look at a few of its most iconic features.

Hummer H2

The Hummer H2 interior is a bizarre mix of industrial-looking features and comfort. The controls and stereo are quite large. But this is an extremely comfortable ride, despite the low ground clearance. The dashboard is adorned with exposed bolt heads, making it feel even more strange. This strange combination is what makes H2 unique.

The Renault Avantime

The Renault Avantime is a peculiar car with a quirky name. It was a part French-English portmanteau. Avant means "before" while time refers to time. It was meant to be "modern coupe", which is a good enough meaning but not enough to allow the car to succeed. Avantime is an opposite, with a front like an animal and a back like a human. Critics such as Charles Moss have called the car "a hideous folly".

The Toyota Multipla

If you've ever seen a Multipla, you know it's a strange looking car. The windshield, which is slightly higher than the rest of the car, and the instrument cluster at the centre are not great design features. You'll also notice the door card's thinness if you're right handed. It's great news for right-hand-drive drivers, as it makes it so much easier to put the Multipla in the car.

After passing the exam, a candidate must take a state exam before being licensed as an automobile technician. It varies depending on the location of the applicant.
